Practical tips on healthy eating and physical activity will be delivered to you by text
3-5 times a week. The tips will focus on small changes that can add up to a big impact on your blood sugars, weight, and overall health.
With busy lives, it is easy to get sidetracked and let other things take priority over your health. BEATDiabetes gives you the ability to schedule customized text messages reminders to exercise. You can also send yourself personalized reminders about your goals and reasons for getting healthy.
Good health is the ultimate reward for making healthy choices, but sometimes having a short term goal can help jumpstart change. Specific rewards vary by site*, but include earning entries in drawings to win fitness trackers, meal services, and cash rewards by improving your fasting blood sugar/A1C, attending Diabetes Prevention Program Sessions, or losing weight.

We are enrolling people from participating clinics and communities in this free, 12 month program. To be eligible, you must have prediabetes, have a phone that can accept text messages and a plan that allows unlimited incoming text messages, and receive your care in a participating clinic or community.
